TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment Terms:
We accept check, cash or money order.
Full payment is required at time of first visit (after initial consultation).
For regular or long term bookings we require the first 7 visits in advance. After this, you will be billed monthly.
There is a $25 fee for all returned checks
Cancellations:
All cancellations, bookings and date changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We understand that plans change, but in order to accommodate our customers please let us know as soon as possible.
Weather:
Inclement weather may inhibit services to be performed. In times of severe weather conditions, Denver Happy Pets will continue to perform services as long as road conditions are safe. We ask for contact information of someone who lives near by to ensure the well being of your pet in these circumstances.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
Denver Happy Pets will make every effort to ensure the same pet sitter/walker is responsible for your entire booking. However, occasions may arise, due to sickness, injury or logistical reasons, where another sitter must be called upon to care for your pet. Denver Happy Pets holds the discretion to change sitters/walkers without notice in these circumstances.
Situations may arise where the pet sitter/walker may need to spend extra time with the pet for its own well being, such as needing to bring the pet to a vet or employing a locksmith if key does not work. Denver Happy Pets has the right to determine when these services are necessary in your absence and to invoice you to cover the expenses incurred. Further, if supplies such as food, litter or other cleaning items are necessary to purchase while you are away for the well being of your pet, Denver Happy Pets will retain the receipt and the pet owner is responsible for the reimbursement of expenses. The pet taxi/errand rate will apply for the time it takes to purchase the necessary items.
Animal Behavior:
The pet owner is responsible and fully liable for any animal behavior which results in injury to the pet, other pets or the pet sitter. The owner accepts full responsibility for the cost of any necessary medical attention required. |
